SMBC: Link or not to link that is not the question!

I’ve been working on composition reports on local bars & restaurants in Gahanna Ohio & I found a common problem! Social media not linked to their websites. I have to ask myself why? It does not make any sense. Missed opportunities left & right. The reason for a website is to build presents on the web & the reason for social media is to get folks to interact. If you put the two together you get the power of both. If folks go to your site but the links are not there then you lose the interaction factor. If all you have is social media then the fan might not take you as the real deal & will go to your competition.

If you got it flaunt it. Don’t hide your website or social media. Make it seen and herd! In to days world folks follow the businesses that know not the ones that mask the idea. By connecting all the areas of the web you are using, you are maximizing your exposure. When you ad in a search engine company at this point you will get even more exposure. It is common knowledge that the more links to & from other websites & social the more the world wide web sees you. If you’re a business don’t discount your social media. It will show up if folks look for it. Social media is a real force & needs to be managed just like anything in your business. If you are not doing anything with your social delete it. Any type of web presence that is not maintained will hurt your business. It may even tell folks how you care about your work as well.

The bottom line is to link all your known social media to your site & make sure everything is streamlined. This will give your message quality & your business new life. As I said in the beginning:  Link or not to link that is not the question!
