So you think you can do it all?

The most important thing you can do is know that you don’t know. This is an action statement. Why you may ask? The reason is if you act on the idea that you believe you can do it all then you wind up wasting to much time & money in places that would otherwise save you money. Advertising is one of those areas. It can take all your money & leave you broke. It is important to remember there are agency’s that will work with small budgets. You can find free services that you can use too. The important thing to know is that they are out there. The other side of the coin is you think you don’t need to advertise because you have what everyone wants. Think again, you need to do something to let folks know you are out there! Business cards, flyers, web-work & any type promotional item is considered advertising & cost money. Don’t kid yourself you will be spending money in this area. If you are building a strong business then you should build a strong ad plan as well. By budgeting for your marketing & promotions services you set a plan in place that will over time save you money. Not all business advertises the same way so it is always a good start to look at your “Business Plan”! If you don’t have one write one. The thing to know is what it is you do & whom you do it for.

Your return on investment is over time not the next day. Advertising is an investment in your company’s future. Why do you think big companies pay big dollars to advertise, we know they are there. Fast food, computer, and Social media you name it they all budget & plan on how to keep their name on the top of people’s minds. As your business grows so does your ad plan. Don’t shortchange your business by saying I’ve done enough advertising. This is a constant word of who you are. The minute you stop is the minute folks start seeing your competition more. The big thing is it’s a team effort, take what you know & bring in the folks you like know trust to help you market your business. We can’t do it all but we can plan to be successful!
