Tomorrow, October 27, from 5-8 p.m. is the 50th anniversary celebration for the Rose Art Museum. Come join President Lawrence, Provost Steve Goldstein, the Rose staff, and the School of Creative Arts community for this joyous and emblematic event. On view in the newly renovated museum will be three exhibitions showcasing the university’s famed collection. You will have the opportunity to see works by Robert Rauschenberg, Roy Lichtenstein, Ellsworth Kelly, Willem de Kooning, Louise Nevelson, Andy Warhol, Kiki Smith — and the newly acquired “EVE-RAY-FOREVER (1965/2006)” by Bruce Connerbushofghosts

“Two 1959 People” by legendary artist James Rosenquist will be on hand, and the Rose is thrilled that Mr. Rosenquist will be in attendance.
