Join our international steampunk City 2011 Mayor Dr. Grymm at The Charles River Museum of Industry & Innovation from 1 to 3 PM on Sunday July 24, 2011. Dr. Grymm will discuss his latest book 1,000 Steampunk Creations:

Neo-Victorian Fashion, Gear, and Art. He and steampunk artists will offer insight into the future of the steampunk, how to create steampunk art, and more. Packed with 1,000 color photographs, 1,000 Steampunk Creations features stunning jewelry, fashion, accessories, headgear, artwork, home decorations, and curious contraptions. Books will be available for purchase for $20.00 during the author lecture and signing.

At the event, meet with other makers, enthusiasts and artists, exchange stories, show off your latest projects and find out what others are up to. The event will also feature a steampunk swap. Bring an item you no longer need and swap it with another steampunk for something you can use. Scavenge your closets and see what you have.

The Museum is located at 154 Moody Street, Waltham, MA. Admission is $7.00 per adult, $5.00 per student or senior, and free for children under six and active and retired US Military personnel.
